Smart Repairs Technicians was founded in 2014 by Lorenzo Lebyane, a qualified appliance technician who identified a critical gap in the Johannesburg market: owners of premium appliances — Miele, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, La Cornue — had nowhere to turn for repairs that matched the standard of the appliance itself.
Generic repair services lack the manufacturer training, specialist tools, and OEM parts that premium appliances demand. A Gaggenau oven or Sub-Zero refrigerator is a precision instrument — it deserves a technician who has been trained by the manufacturer to service it.
